Using YouTube for scratch
Is there any way to convert a video from YouTube to a scratch project?

Not by default, no. But you can use GIFsoup to convert a video to a GIF file, which you can then import into Scratch.
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
