Rrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaggggggggeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My computer broke, so I had to bring it to get fixed. They said the hard drive was "broken" and they would "fix it," so I waited. When I got it back GUESS WHAT?!?!?!?

They gave me a suspiciously new-looking computer with NONE OF MY OLD STUFF ON IT.

And now they tell me "not to move my computer too much," which is such a lie.

Re: Rrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaggggggggeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's no fun.
I can't move my new charger like an inch to the side or it loses connection.  That combined with my laptop's half hour lifespan can get frustrating if it unplugs and I don't notice.

My sister's laptop does that, except it has literally no battery life. She has to keep it plugged in all the time.

What a rip-off. You should of said thanks, and just bought a new HDD to replace the old one.

I'm actually starting to think the gave me a new one. They replaced the screen, case, and hard drive. (maybe even some of the keys)

It WAS free, though.

Demand your money (and computer) back. Though if the hard drive was fried, you can't get it back of course...

Actually, it was free because it was the first time it broke.

Re: Rrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaggggggggeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, you should at least be happy that you got the repair for free, though, if you look at the bright side of the "rainy day".   smile

Oh no! That's why you should always backup your important files.

Something similar happened to me last year: I had completed my school project. Before I got it printed, my computer broke. After repairing, the file was no longer on my computer. Fortunately, there was a backup of that file at Dropbox.

Same here. I have to keep my computer plugged in at all times, and a new battery is $143.50. This laptop is a 8 lb. monster, so it isn't a big deal (most of the time).

Anyway, that sounds bad! Sadly, you probably can't recover anything off the HDD, because chances are, they replaced it, not repaired it.

It's sad.

Luckily, I'm getting a Time Machine thing, so this won't happen again.

When I lost it, I went back in time and stopped myself from ever losing it.

But if you don't have it, you can't go back in time.

What if I was already back in time and I waited until my past self came back woth the time machine?

But seriously, back on topic.

On my old account, real-pokemon, I was working on a huge project, but my computer got broken too. All my stuff was erased.
