Variable Reset

I was working on a project and found out that when you post a project online each time you return to the project the variables are reseted. Is there a way to counter this? If not I think it would be a good suggestion for scratch 1.3.  hmm

Re: Variable Reset

I mean, I changed the variable values online and it reset it. Such as set high score to 1000 but when I come back to the project it sets it to 0 (thats what I uploaded it as).

Re: Variable Reset

I think you're talking about having persistant variables between sessions.  That is, the computer stores the value and retrieves it next time you access the project.  That feature is not currently available in Scratch.  I have heard that it is available in NetScratch, but I have yet to hear that anybody has gotten it to work.  It would be a very nice feature to have and I believe that the Scratch team is working on it.

I have no idea. However, since it isn't to late in the year they might finish it before 2009.
