Import GIMP!

Hi! I just got GIMP 2 and am liking it. I just need to know how to get a Gimp image into Scratch.
Please Help!  sad

save the image as a .jpg,  then drag the image into the Scratch window.

What I usually do (I'm sure this is rather inefficient and lousy  tongue ) is to take a screenshot of my GIMP creation, put it in Paint, save it there, then import it from the Scratch paint editor...

With the Save As option in GIMP, add the file extension term to the name before saving (ie. save a file as Script.png to save as a .png file).
