Yes, finding rear facts is very rear.

I think everyone is taking this all way too far. No one on the Scratch site was ever hacked, and this time is no exception. Your password can be guessed or obtained by some other method, but hacking is much harder than people seem to assume. I doubt anyone with the skills to find an exploit on the site (assuming one exists) has any interest in causing mischief in a beginners' programming site.

Well, I tried a couple of times to see if it was possible to hack the Scratch website. I failed each time.
Should an exploit exist, it probably would take some great thinking and innovation to figure it out. At this point, I hardly doubt someone would go to great lengths to figure out how to hack into the Scratch website to cause mischief - they probably would be going after something bigger, like a website where credit card transactions take place.

There is an exploit on this site, just it's very very hard to find.

Lol @ the freaked out little kids who think some hacker wants to delete all their projects off a kids programing site. They have better things to do.
I remmember months ago a large group of users thought archmage was a hacker and deleted tons of accounts lol.

It was a little over a year ago, here are some comments I found in one of the "Oh no a hacker is going to hack us" projects. I still lol at them.
"i heard that archmage was posting about hacking sites. he posted that he was in the middle of hacking scratch."
"there is a good chance that there is more than one hacker, the suspects are archmage(one of his favorites was a deleted thing) and iamjill (she lives in ontario, canada, like archmage) both could be the hackers, both are prime suspects."
"NEWS FLASH! ARCHMAGE IS SCRATCH FRIENDS WITH ANDRESMH! THEY COULD BE WORKING TOGETHER TO HACK SCRATCH, AND THAT IS HOW SCRATCH IS GETTING HACKED!!!" AHAHAHAHAHDIFRMEDUWUT thats my personal favorite.
"NEWS FLASH! archmage has hacked scratch before! check this out: archmage wrote: More like a javascript trick than a hack. It is really difficult to hack well made websites. I hacked into the admin pannel for my school's year book website. The url had user=1 in it so I changed it to user=3 and I got into their admin pannel Never pass variables using the url bar if it is something important like that. They also didn't properly chmod their files. see?! i told you so!"
"Archmage I hate you, your a hacker!"

I agree. Some people do make a big deal out of ‘hackers’, and how they’re tacking over. I wouldn’t define somebody, who spends there all time typing in password after password for hours and occasionally by complete chance guesses one right, a hacker; anyone can do that. And I think allot of time the ‘hacker’ is a creation of the ‘hacked’, it is gust something to get them on the front page. Scratch’s security outweighs the motivation of any real hacker; they wouldn’t bother with an armature programming website.
So ya, if you don’t want your account broken into, chose a password only you would know.

if you now how to make an Internet Spider it is possibly to make a program that can fined exploit but i don't think any one in scratch could make one .
