Ok, most recently we all know by know SPRITEMASTER, Glitchfinder, And a Whole load more scratchers have been hacked. Spritemaster has actually been hacked 3 times in 1 week. What are these hackers doing? Not only are they deleting people projects but they are also using their victims to pretend that those scratchers are cyberbullying others. For instance, when spritemaster and glitchfinder were hacked their hacker made an "I QUIT'' Project saying that they quit for ever and will not miss scratchers AND saying that the truthe is they hate all scratchers expecially famous ones. I'm not sure if KAJ has returned or not, but I know KAJ was a real hacker who got banned. You can get more information on marrio555's weebly website on "suggestions and comments". Now, the only projects I see on " newest projects" are 'how to prevent being hacked' or ' I quit because KAJ scared me away'! Scratch is becoming real nervous for me now and I hope the scratch team figures this out soon. If you are afraid of being hacked just change your password to something super hard like " 1234445yousdfsg2453561 and then write it down on paper. If you are hacked contact the scratch team saying you were hacked. If they delete your projects, just repost them, If you get banned, tell the scratch team you've been hacked and you did not say anything and it was the hacker's falt. SCRATCH ON! ^_^

Ah, yes, so many new scratchers dread this.
Luckily know 99% percent of the cases are actually myths. It very rarely actually happens

I most recently got more information, since this KAJ or hacker thing is getting out of hand, over 25 people have tried to get some fame by saying " I AM KAJ AND YOU ARE NEXT ON MY LIST!" or naming their account THE RETURN OF KAJ, Just like people did with swifty2, they named their account SWIFTY1 or SWIFTY3 or SWIFTY2's OTHER ACCOUNT''. I'm not even sure if KAJ is the hacker. All I know is people have been hacked recently.over 23 people have been hacked this month so let's hope things get better soon.

Oh boy - once again, rumors of Kaj have existed on Scratch for almost 2 years. There's no way to prove what happened in the two cases you listed. Anyone who can guess a password could've done it, or even the people who were "hacked" themselves.
Remember that the only type of "hacking" that happens here is password guessing (you'd have to be pretty stupid to use illegal hacking software on MIT servers). The only precaution you need to take is making sure you have a hard-to-guess password, and you're set.

Hacking has only happened very rarely. Due to this slim number, the average scratchers' chance of being hacked is about 1: 35,509 !! (I did the math). So no need to panick.
And Spritemaster had all of his projects and everything restored. i don't know about the others, but I haven't checked.

I won't believe any of this hacking stuff until I know how it's possible. Seriously, Scratch has a password protected database for users, and all the login stuff is made in PHP (I think), which is impossible to view unless you have FTP access to it, which is also password protected.

I'd be most interested to see where you got this information. There have been a few people claiming to be Kaj to try and scare people but it hasn't been anything like 25. And certainly there haven't been anything like 23 cases of unauthorized account access.
Please don't spread rumors like that. Yes, we had an unfortunate case of unauthorized account use. And that has triggered a lot of concern among some users. But it's no where near as big a thing as you make it sound.
As has been said many times before, just make sure your password is hard to guess and also make sure that you don't tell it to anybody and you should be fine

The best way to help the Scratch Team is to contact the Scratch Team directly about any info you have and where you learned about it. Please do not spread any more unfounded rumors.
