I could use some help!

I need help with a few things on this, mostly:
X movement
falling movement
when going through the portal, why does it mess up?
and anything that you see is not working.

Nice project! Here are the solutions to some of your problems, except for the portal one because I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that.
First, delete all these scripts off your main character:
Then, create the following scripts:
(click for a full-sized image)
Note that in the above script the blue-ish colour is that of the base of the person, the white colour is the background, and the orange colour is the ground.
