scracth applet

My game called lightbike (look under my project) runs correctly when downloaded and run with scratch, but when uploaded on the website it doesn't work.
I double-checked my code, there's not bug or errors, the error has to be with the java applet used to play the game in a browser. besides this website, I uploaded it on my own website webs.wofford.edu/rutarindwar/ and I used these instructions to do so:
http://webs.wofford.edu/sykesda/JAN/scratchproject.html
Is there something wrong with the instructions that I used?
What's the problem?

Re: scracth applet

Scratch is programmed in Squeak, which is completely different from Java. Though it comes close, often there are differences in how they run certain projects. Unfortunately, there's no real way around it when it occurs, so what most people do is state clearly in the project notes that it must be downloaded to work.

Rest assured, though - Scratch 2.0, the next version of Scratch, will fix all these problems, as everything will be made in the same programming language.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
