Open/Save As Dialog Box

Hi- I was wondering if there was a way or a tool that would allow me to edit the locations in the Open and Save As dialog boxes for Scratch.  I am a network admin and we don't want to allow users to access some of the locations that are listed in this dialog.  Thanks!

Re: Open/Save As Dialog Box

I think there are instructions that come in the README.txt file in the Scratch folder. Does this help?

Oh, and this might fit better in All About Scratch.

Re: Open/Save As Dialog Box

no, I do think that it is an advanced question... lets see how well it's answered. I do think that you have a good point, the school I went to used to let me access areas of the school network that couldn't be viewed by other means, though as you can't delete files in the save and open dialogues it's not an amazing problem.

The user seems to be asking something that seems to require some manipulation of Scratch. Let's leave it in Advanced Topics for now until we learn more about the problem at hand. ^^

@tnielsen: Have you tried asking this question in Scratch ED? Scratch ED is a place primarily targeted at educators. This sounds like a school-related problem, so perhaps one of the educators there might know an answer to your solution.  smile
