Os?

I'm just going to ask this, since I have no idea what's an OS.

So yeah. What's an OS? I'm not wholly completely sure about this.

Re: Os?

OS stands for Operating System. You have a computer, but the O.perating S.ystem could be a Mac Snow Leopard, Mac Tiger, Windows XP, Windows 7, or something like that. A Scratch OS is practically a mini computer, an extremely mini, ultimately limited mini OS. It's an operating system made in Scratch. Does this answer your question?

"I've worked so hard for you and you give me nothing in return. Do you need help... Or do I?"

Re: Os?

Operating System. Basically, an operating system is the software that your computer runs on to run everything else, such as Windows, OS X, or Linux. An OS is not limited to a personal computer though; there are phone operating systems as well, such as Android or iOS. OS's made in Scratch, therefore, are not actually OS's, but just made to emulate an OS.
