Resize the Code Window

I'm a teacher, and I've been using Scratch with a Smartboard and projector setup in my class. It works pretty well, but the resolution on my projector (as on most, I think) is pretty low. It leaves me with a code window just barely wide enough for two starter blocks side-by-side.

Any time I use a long line, like a nested OR/AND block, I have to do some gymnastics to get the kids to see what I'm demonstrating. It makes it hard for them to see what I'm doing.

I'd really like the ability to resize the code window -- perhaps a toggle button that will switch between normal view and a full-screen code window. I could just drag over the blocks I need, press the full-screen button, and then assemble it.

Any chance we could get something like this?

Re: Resize the Code Window

I appreciate the need for something like this. We're thinking about a new UI design for smaller screens that might help, but it will be a while before it becomes available.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Re: Resize the Code Window

The problem with resizing the code window is that it resizes other things, which are already at it's minimum size. If you resize it to the right, you can't fit the preview window, and to the left, the blocks window is too small.

By the way, how much do smartboards cost? my teacher ordered whiteboards three years ago and they still haven't come.
