There's a new record! It's called 'wait.' It used to be called "where are we now," but there could only be one word. I just listened to it, it's now my 2nd favorite record

Yeah. I remember it, it's definitely one of the best.

Someone on the MC forums wants computers to order food with... Ugh. Why do people on these forums usually have better quality suggestions than on there when we have a younger age average?

Age <> intelligence

It's meant for a before-diamond staage.
Why would you find emeralds before diamonds?
Villages. WHY DO PEOPLE FORGET ABOUT HOW EASY TO GET THEM IT IS ;-;. They should be stone strength, with gold durability, if any emerald tools/armor is added.
Oh yeah. It's just the way they said it that made me think that.

Because Scratch is a fairly tightly-knit intelligent society, whereas the MC forums are 'well I have Minecraft [that makes up probably 80% of the population that has computers and internet]. Signing up.' Although that is one of the worst ideas I've seen on the MC forums (I don't check them often).

If you look up you'll see a suggestion for unbreakable emerald tools, not everything that comes out of Scratch is amazing.

If you properly read that suggestion, you will realize that it is suggesting that the damage/protection go down as the damage to the item goes up. I think this is a legitimate suggestion. Please try not to deliberately call someone's suggestion "not amazing".

Seriously, go see the "blood emerald" factory by the Bteam, you can get stacks of emerald blocks in hours, just an hour of work is enough to set you up for 100-300 pickaxes.
They're not made for tools, they're made to be useless, that's all currency is, if villagers didn't trade them they'd be as useless as slimeballs before 1.7, but call them currency and people will use them.

Which is why I use them as currency on my server. (my non-roleplay server)

problem is, you can then farm money.
imagine if in real life we replaced coins with leaves?
although it should be fine having them as a currency, as long as you don't get it to large and you encourage people not to farm it.

Emeralds were meant to be really rare, but villagers are just easily abusable, which just makes iConomy etc. more popular because overall they're actual economy plugins that have been thought out.

I agree with that, even just turning off villager trading but not villagers would help immensely.
