Newest snapshot has: Sandstone stairs, new ore, "ender chests", villager trading, desert pyramids/temples with traps and treasure, new village types (eg. sandstone village in desert), more creative blocks, new gravel texture, new stars, brand new gold apple with Regen 5 mins, fire resistance 5 min and more and dispensers can place water and lava.

Every time I try to play my survival world it either crashed the game or the chunks don't load, sending me falling forever.

Ender chests must be pretty large. Or does each player have one each?

Trading with villagers seems a good idea. No more massacring them

They're the size of one chest, you can't make more than one (so every enderchest in the server is connected) and the trading is cheap.

On my survival island seed, I decided to find mainland, so I set out. I found an island with a massive cave system. Its huge. I found some diamonds in it, and then decided to begin shimmying alongside a ravine. I though to myself Something's gonna jump off the ledge above me and knock me straight into the lava. Well, I was right about the jumping off the ledge part. A skeleton decided to scare the living intestines out of me.

I know reside in a small lava-lit off-stretch of a cave, where I make the decision to explore further (which will take a long time) or safely return home with my diamonds.

Its emerald ore, which its contents give you resources for villager trading systems.

Ender chests are the internet of storage. Put something in the ender chest, and it will be in all ender chests. Even if you destroy the only ender chest, it will be in there again when you place it.

@Werd the regen is only 30 seconds, but its regen IV, while there's resistance for 5 min.

He has windows 7.

How do you install pre-releases?  I used to know how to do it, but now that singleplayer and multiplayer are combined, you have to install it differently.
