I can't wait for the update! I shall not only wear a pumpkin to protect myself from endermen, but beat the endermen over the head WITH a pumpkin! It's the perfect plan!

Has anyone heard of the SMP texture pack? It's basically my default one now.

Oh yeah, I used SMP for a while up until just like 3 days ago when I finally got around to getting an HD texture pack.

Ideas for MC.

Items

Explosion-tipped arrows.
Crafting: Made like normal arrows but you replace the flint with gunpowder. It will give you 4.
Use: Would make a small explosion where it hit (a few blocks would be destroyed)

Fire-tipped arrows.
Crafting: Like normal arrows, but replace flint with fire (you would get fire from ghasts). It would give you 8 (since fire would be so hard to get).
Use: Would start a small fire, not as big as using a flint and steel.

Spear.
Crafting: Would be made like a diagonal shovel. (bottom right and middle=stick, top left=mineral)
Use: Could be thrown about 8 blocks and could be picked up again.
Damage: Stone: 1 damage. Iron: 2 damage. Gold: 2 damage. Diamond: 3.5 damage.

Knife.
Crafting: Like a sword, but without the top square. (bottom mid=stick, mid= mineral)
Use: As a weapon that can be used in close, or ranged combat. Can be thrown about 6 blocks, or used like a sword.
Damage: Stone: 0.5 damage. Iron: 1 damage. Gold: 1.5 damage. Diamond: 3 damage.

Blocks

Slimeblock.
Crafting: 4 slimeballs in a square.
Use: A trampoline. If you stood on it you would be catapulted 6 blocks up in the air and take no damage in the fall. If you ran into the side you would be shot backwards 3 blocks.

Pink Slimeblock.
Crafting: 4 pinkslimeballs in a square.
Use: Would shoot you up 8 blocks in the air, and shoot you back 5 blocks if you run into the side.

Coal block.
Crafting: 9 coal in a square.
Use: Same as Netherack.

Haystack.
Crafting: 9 wheat in a square will get 2 haystacks.
Use: Aesthetic

Mobs

Pink slime.
Location: Would be rarer than normal but found in any caves (even surface ones).
Health: 20 hearts for large. 10 for normal. 5 for small. 1 for tiny.
Damage: 5 hearts for large. 3 for normal. 1 for small. None for tiny.
Drops: Pink slimeball.

Birds.
Location: Above ground, commonly found on trees.
Health: 3.
Damage: (will only attack if attacked) 0.5 hearts.
Drops: feather.

Nice Ideas but, if you want the arrows try Risugami's Mods - Elemental Arrows Beta 1.7.3 For the birds, someone has already made a mod with them - DrZhark's Mo'Creatures.

And the spear should be crafted with:

flint
stick
stick
