So, I'm confused. What's all the fuss about MC? It seems cool, but I don't understand what's the huge hype about. I haven't played it yet, I don't want any more games. I have, like, 60 DS games, 10 computer games, and 15 Wii games. Around 85 games in total, so..

1.8!

NPC villages - Sounds really cool, though as qazedt said, the NPCs will probably like walk into cacti and stuff.
Randomly generated dungeons - Nice, can't wait.
New biome code - Meh, depends what it's like
Fully working Creative Mode (and individual admins can enter Creative Mode on a Survival Mode server if they choose) - That's cool I suppose
Critical hits - I don't know what this means...
Sprinting - Ooh, sounds cool.
More farming options - I've never been much of a farmer but, eh, it could be cool.

I really thought 1.8 was out. It was just 1.7.3... 

@Werdna123: I think critical hits might mean that you can punch a mob really hard. (Might be for adventure mode)

Me and wiimaster were playing on our little server, and I forgot I had a creeper skin I changed into. He calls for my help, so I teleport to him and tap him on th shoulder and he tries to kill me. I run away and he realizes I have arms. We then start mining, and he asks me to change my skin to something different. I disconnect, go to minecraft.net and switch to a...herobrine skin. I go on and go behind wii.
