VM error?
I tried to import a sound, but I got this 
could someone tell me what this is?

Well, was the sound extremely big? If so, it's just crashed Scratch basically, it couldn't handle something that big...
If it wasn't a particularly big file, maybe you had lots of programs open in the background, and this song just tipped your VM over the edge?
Also, I don't think re-downloading Scratch will do much good, it's not Scratch that's necessarily the problem, I'm 97% certain it's other stuff...

PS. You only need to redownload the Scratch.app or Scratch.exe, depending on the OS you're on. Everything else can stay.
