ok bad title
What i'm asking is do you have any other programs you use to do things that you can also do in scratch: animation, games, ect.
I am learning Java and Flash (AS3). I also got a new program called Anime Studio Debut 6 which is nice. I got it cheaper because 7 just came out
. You can animate using bones and keyframes (like in Flash). I made a smilie that blinks and waves its hand
.

Aw, I was gonna get Anime Studio but they sold out!

Hmm... I've never heard of Anime Studio Debut.

If I ever went back to coding things, I'd go do some Java. Maybe learn a little VB. I make websites more often than not (XHTML, CSS, JavaScript).
I am also somewhat knowledgeable in Rubicon.

i want to show the thing i made but i don't have one of those picture site memberships. does the website support quicktime movie, AVI movie, or Flash SWF files for icons or gallery pics? thats the only formats it exports apart from facebook and youtube, neither of which i have.

I have Anime Studio but I don't really like it. It's bone rigging, not frame by frame like I was hoping.

Or you could bring your flash drive and steal the install files

I used to do stuff in Flash back when one of my classes required it. It's pretty awesome to learn and use, especially when doing animations.
Flash is expensive to get, but if you show proof that you're a student (like a student card), you might be able to get a discount.
