Problems with the project notes

The last two projects I've posted have had their project notes changed pretty badly, having more than half deleted and the other half all pushed together.  Has this happened to anyone else and is it fixable?

The only problem I have is that it removes the line breaks, but I can just fix it by editing the notes online, not changing anything, and saving changes.

To fix the all pushed together click the project notes and then click "ok".

I tried that several times.  I really don't understand what's going on.  I knew about the line breaks, but it literally deletes the breaks instead of just hiding them.
