Why are some scratchers WAY more respected than others?

This probably won't help my reputation (what.... What am talking about?), but a lot of regular scratchers (not mods) are respected a LOT more. Example: FMT, Blade ect.

They've been on a long time (making them "Legends") and they make good games, they're cool etc. I would make a long speech about it but I really can't be bothered. But yeah I'm not very "respected" (depends on what type of respected you mean) compared to others, since 1. I'm not cool 2. I don't make particularly great games and 3. I'm not that old (not age, but how long I've been on Scratch).
So yeah.

I'm not all that respected in the community, from my point of view. No complaints, of course. I know what you mean, certain users are godlike around here. No offense to anyone, that's not a bad thing.

Well I personally believe I am respected entirely too much here but thats their problem not mine, and it hasn't gone to a worshipping state yet so I'm fine
And I'm guessing people are respected because they've gained respect..?
Are you implying that the people who are respected don't deserve it? Because thats what I'm getting from reading this

Most "worshipped" people are snappy and sarcastic and/or more mature.

I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos
