I need the info filled out, and it must be complete.

I would prefer it written on this thread or in another topic, not in a project. I also need the info. And thanks! Also is that complete?

Oh, ok.  Here's Escape:

I waited.
I’ve been waiting for a very, very long time.  Months? Years? Millennia? I don’t know.  I do not eat.  I do not sleep.  Absolutely nothing distinguishes each passing second.
I pace the Room, and for the umpteenth time observe my surroundings.  The Room is perfectly clean and a perfect cube, with no windows.  It is dimly lit by a source I cannot discern.  There is a bed in the corner which I do not use, that has neatly folded plain white sheets with a slight crease where I occasionally sit and watch the door.  The door is on the other side of the room from the bed.  It looks perfectly normal, a plain wooden rectangle with a simple doorknob.  I have tried the doorknob countless times, but it is always locked.
I do not know why I am here.  They either didn’t tell me, or I have forgotten.  The faintest of memories tickles the back of my mind of when I wasn’t waiting, of when I was in the world outside.  I remember the sun, the cool wind, the people I was with and the green.  My, how I loved how green the world was, how plants were growing freely everywhere.  I do hope they’ll let me out soon so I can see it again.  But ever since I was placed in this godforsaken room I haven’t heard from anyone.  It’s like they’ve forgotten me.  But I wait, for it is the only thing I really can do.  That and remember.
But the memory fades.
*    *    *
The day he came was like any other day I’ve had.  Of course, nothing marks the change between day and night here, but I shall say it was a day.  I had just tried the doorknob one more time- it was still locked.  Disappointed, I walked over to my bed, sat on it, and buried my face in my hands.  I knew this was my life, and I accepted that I had to keep waiting.  But it did get tedious at times.
I looked up, and there he was, standing right in front of the door, though I did not hear it open.  I was not surprised to see him; I was dead to surprise, living without it for so long.  He was tall, gaunt, and very old, with a pale-gray complexion and in what appeared to be a formal suit.  He stood there perfectly still; I barely thought he was breathing.  A long time passed with neither of us moving.
Finally I asked, “Who are you?”  Or I at least tried to ask.  I have not spoken for very long, and what came out was a hoarse whisper.
The old man seemed to understand, and rasped, “I am here to offer freedom.”  His voice sounded hoarse as well, though seeming from age rather than lack of use.
“An offer?  I don’t need an offer.  They will tell me what I am here for soon enough.”
“Who will tell you?  And why do you think they will let you out?  You are here for eternity, unless you follow me.”
“Eternity?”  I paused, debating.  Was he telling the truth?  Was there really no point?
“Then why am I here?”  I asked cautiously.
“Storage purposes.”
I was truly surprised now.  All this time, the one thing I thought I knew was that I was going to get out at some point.  And now I learn that was not true.
“But you can let me out?”
“Yes, if you wish.”
“At what cost?”  I was suspicious now.  Why was he bothering with me?
I saw a glimmer of a smile flick across his face.  But then it was gone.  “I assure you the deed is enough reward for me.”
“How do I know you are telling the truth?”
“You do not.”  He said quite calmly.  “I will let you think for a moment.”
I did.  Was it worth it to miss my purpose here for an early release?  But what if there is no purpose, besides ‘storage purposes’?  What did that even mean?  And if I say no, it will be an eternity of uncertainty, wondering if I will be let out.  I made a decision.
“I accept.”
The man’s mouth broke into a grin.
“Very well.”  And that was all he said.
He turned around, took a step towards the door, and opened it.  He did not use a key or anything to unlock it.  It was simply unlocked.  He step through, turned, and was out of sight.
I slowly rose to my feet, then slinked to the door, stopping short about a foot from it.  The wall outside was a gray similar to the walls in the Room, but the sides extended beyond the edges of the door.  I stepped through.  It was a hallway, one as clean as the Room and similarly lit.  I turned around and noticed that my door was one of many, all labeled “Storage”.
We continued along many corridors.  Finally we reached a dead end.
“The way out,” he said calmly, sweeping one arm towards the only door.  It had a sign above that said EXIT.
I crept forward slowly, as if the door would leave if I moved too fast.  I reached for the door slowly, turned the handle, and then flung the door wide open to see the world beyond.  At first I was overjoyed, then realization hit.
It was a wasteland.
The world I saw outside consisted of heaps of rubble as far as the eye could see.  The sky was a smoky, smoggy color, but what struck me most was the lack of green.  There were absolutely no plants or any signs of life at all.  I was horrified.
“It appears I must explain some things.” The old man was right behind me, with a wide grin that did not meet his eyes.
“The world as you know it is no more.  Man used up too many resources, polluted too much of the environment, and ravaged the earth too much by war.  The powers that were your government decided to contain all of its population in our storage facility until a time when the earth would be peaceful and capable of life.  These facilities would keep them in a kind of conscious suspended animation.”
“But then they were going to let us out, when things returned to normal!  You lied!”  I protested.
The old man held up his hands.  “I did not lie.  I have never lied.  You see, the world shall never return to what it was.  I will make sure of it.”  His smile was very cold now.  "Now, I have business to attend to.  Goodbye."  He began closing the door.
“Wait!  Let me back in!”  I shouted.
“I’m sorry, but there’s no turning back.  As a side note, I believe now that you are outside of your Room you will succumb to age and disease.  Farewell.” And he closed the door forever.

No tokens, and its not really a game. It is similar to the TBG versions of iPods and PCs, but with Kindles where you can download and share stories.

And thanks, Kim.

Re: Submit your own Stories to be in the TBG Kindle!

Here is a teaser of a story I am writing for this:

Chapter One: The Woods are Dangerous

The wind blew as the red girl walked through the dark, evening woods. Basket clutched tightly in her hands, she made her way through the forest to her granny's house which lies at the end.

She hears a crack. She pauses, stopping in her tracks. She turns slowly towards the dense, dark woods off of the path. She stood, watching curiously to see what rustled the shrubbery beneath.
Slowly, a dark figure comes into view from the shadows. A wolf, it seemed, on two legs with red, glowing eyes.

'Going somewhere, dearie?' Said the wolf in a gruff voice.

'G-grandma's' She replied.

'Oh' Said the wolf. 'Whats in the basket?'

'Pastries. They're for granny' She replied again.

'How nice' He said back, slyly, in mock-kindness. 'Now tell me, little girly, didn't your mother ever tell you-' He paused. 'To not talk to strangers?' He let out a soft, gruff laugh as he stepped out of the shadows.
Teeth bared, he approached the red girl.

'What are you-' She said in fear.

The wolf lashed out, but the red girl stumbled back in time to quickly evade the slash.

'Tricky little morsel, you are' He growled, lashing out again.

The red girl let out a shrill scream as the wolf roared, baring its bloodstained teeth. But before the wolf could attack further, a blue light shone from the sky.

'What the-' The wolf grumbled, aghast.

'Oh!' Cried the red girl in surprise as the wolf began to levitate.

'How?' Roared the wolf as he was lifted.

The red girl began to giggle at the funny sight of the floating wolf. But the laughter soon stopped as trees begun to rip from the ground. Logs and rocks were being hurled around in a swirling motion, slowly going upwards.

As the red girl looked up to see what was doing this, she noticed herself levitating.

She grabbed onto a tree that happened to still be rooted to the ground. She noticed a pulsing, dark, void sucking everything in.

It became harder to hold, yet she clutched on still, basket in one hand, branch in the other.

'No!' She cried, as the basket flew open. One by one, donuts and cupcakes and cookies flew out, making a line of pink and blue soar towards the void.

'I can hold on' She said, determinately, and so she did. She held on as hard as she could.
The pain was getting unbearable. Every muscle was straining inside her young body.

'Argh!' She cried in pain.

Then she saw a house being sucked towards the heavens, bits of wood flying from it.

'No...' She whispered, clearly seeing it was her dear grandmother's house.

'Red-' A distant, feeble voice called from the house.

'Grandma!!!!!' She cried. Tears flooded down her cheeks as she saw her grandma get consumed by the destructive void.
The pain, the sadness, the stress- three forces against one girl. It all became unbearable until-
The red girl blacked out.

The concept is all the fairytales are tied into one world that is being taken over by something...
It will be sci-fi and fantasy. Like it so far?

Re: Submit your own Stories to be in the TBG Kindle!

I am writing one science fiction novella called "The Remnants." I may not post it because it because it's a very violent book and there is some swearing, but I could edit it to make it more Scratch-appropriate. However, it will take a very long time to write since I am only on the second chapter.

I don't see where else this will fit. And have you heard of the iText? Or the Scratchpod? Those aren't really games, just interfaces you can use to download and share games. This is the same, but with writing stories.

Pretty much it is a 3FG. You get a file. Using that file, you can write stories and submit them, or download stories to be on your Kindle. You can customize your page and more.

It is supposed to get people to be creative. And I am not putting it in misc. Misc does not have 3FGs.

I guess I could involve tokens if it makes it a 'game', but people rant when I do that.

Re: Submit your own Stories to be in the TBG Kindle!

Title: When Paranoia Sets In
Author: Aidan
Genre: Action/Adventure (?)
Age Group: Maybe 11+? It really depends on if you can handle it.
Warnings: Violence
Short Description: (I'll just post the prologue) The year is 2008. Your name is Gregory Andrew Dalton. You are just like the average 13-year-old middle-class male living in America right now, except for one small thing: You are currently employed by the United States government. Nothing major, just lending your superior brainpower for the good of the country. Oh, and doing the occasional recon only suitable for a child, er, teenager. You have an IQ of 147, but you try to conceal it in hopes of fitting in with your middle school colleagues. You get average grades, mostly Bs and Cs, but you could do better. You never thought your work for the government was anything to worry about; until now, your records were highly classified and you rarely did any work. Sometimes you even forget that you were a US agent. But on the morning of February 8th, all that changed. Someone had found you. You knew.
Other: Written for fun, started recently.

BTW I'm currently adding to it, but here's the link to what I have so far: (link)

Written in second person?  Cool, that's a first.
