This isn't too big of an issue, whenever I view a project online that has Scratch speech bubbles, a really annoying thing happens. As soon as the speech bubble should be popping up, the Scratch Java player freezes up. Usually, any sounds already playing will still work, but the graphics freeze. Sometimes the speech bubble shows up and everything's back to normal within a few seconds, but usually it lasts for about a minute.
The wierd thing, is that for the rest of the project, speech bubbles work fine, and there are no problems. Also, if I click the green flag, the project will run through smoothly, but only after the first speech bubble occurs (though I usually can't get this to happen, because the green flag doesn't work when the player is frozen).
I think the problem is that the Java player is trying to load all the information from the speech bubbles all at once when the first speech bubble appears, causing it to freeze. However, it still feezes when there's only one speech bubble in the project, so my theory may not be right.
Does this happen to everyone else, or is my computer just being annoying?(I use Windows XP home edition if that means anything
) I'd really appreciate it if someone would help!

Fascinating! I'm wondering if this could just be an issue with the project: does this happen on all projects or just this one?
If it's all projects, you could consider reinstalling Java - that usually works. If there are any updates available for Java, you should probably install them, too.
Hope that helps!
