Have you ever walked into a store and planned to buy something with your own money only to get it free? I have. Once I was planning to buy Spore, so I walked into Toys R Us, money in hand, and tried to buy it. The guy at the check out did some stuff, talked to another lady, and then handed it to me and my dad and said "Merry Christmas! You can have it." This was nowhere near Christmas, by the way. It turns out that that copy of Spore had old packaging, so there had been a manufacturer recall and it was supposed to have been sent back to the people who made it, but there was a mess up and Toys R Us didn't sent it back. Since it was technically free, the cashier gave it to me free. I was thoroughly happy for the rest of the day, considering Spore costs $40.00.

I may have carried a shirt out of a store once....and I wasn't planning on buying one. Of course, that was a long time ago. Nothing recently, as I really never go to a store. Unless it's Gamestop, I'll make the trip then.

---Now that I think about it, I did get one of the opening day release coins for when SMG1 was just out. Except we got the game the day after it came out.
