Hello,
we'd like to test, use and finally integrate some work made with scratch on our own website. Therefore we'd like to use the ScratchApplet.jar. As far as i see this is no technical problem itself (e.g.: see http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=763#p763).
Unfortunately I haven't found any informations about the legal status of downloading the applet from the scratch-website and using it our own system.
Is there any license agreement for the applet?
Thank you in advance!

To my knowledge, there is no legal stuff associated with it.
If I were you, I'd use it as if were fully licensed.
Just keep checking back here, so that the scratch team can respond.
If you do want to be on the safe side until then, though, you can see here:

http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/
http://info.scratch.mit.edu/Scratch_License
If you follow all of the guidelines above, especially the last one, you'll be covered.
They are what govern the scratch software itself, so I think that they pertain also to the ScratchApplet.jar.
