I've been reading around and been using scratch for a couple of weeks smile
I'm no expert but I have picked a fair bit of scratch up. Some of the other people I believe you are referring to has actually got another account and they have just made a newbie.

Blade Edge has 4 accounts, I think. They're are a few people with more than one account. But not many.

Some people create multiple accounts for certain reasons (maybe it's a test account, or maybe they wanted a new username) - there's usually nothing wrong with creating multiple accounts so long as they're not being used for something bad. smile

As for seeing newly registered people answering questions - it could be an old member using an alternative account, or it could be someone who was well-experienced in using Scratch but just new to the site. No need to be suspicious. smile
