k.
In the mean time, We need to figure out how to make a 'wall'. Because we do want that, right? Also thnk of a name. Heres a few quick thoughts:
1) iTalk
2) justME
3) myTalk
4) myLIFE
I have some others but not now
Offline
The 'wall' would act like a miniature forum, with the category being 'wall' or 'page'.
A good name would be justME, because Apple wouldn't be happy with iTalk. Plus, I think we should make some apps where it would make an alert appear on the top of the screen instead of notifications. Those should appear in a bar which lists your most recent notifications.

Nice ideas Scratchthatguys! so one vote for justME

Why does everyone want mods for social network?
Why not just have a word filter

Well it is a SOCIAL network
On facebook they don't have mods
It's peoples choice whether they want to use fowl language on a social network

For a social network, you'll need a cool interface, easy to use customization, a name that rolls off the tongue that doesn't sound like a cartoon for 6 year olds (justME? REALLY?), and preferably a cool non-lame gimmick.

000webhost is good. Use it.
And for the name, how about ConnectVille? I know, it's sorta bad. And don't use a wall, that's copying facebook. How about call it "Bulletins" and "Notes", bulletins would be like a wall, but notes only you could see.

How about something simple like; iConnect? I kind of always put the 'i' in front of the app; Apple use it and since then its become a common trend to do to draw the users to make it feel a more personal application You should thinkk about...
- A web host (Try Freehostia) You get a lengthy subdomain but if you invest $9.00 a year you get a full domain.
- A Mysql database (Make entries so the table can hold usernames, emails, passwords and a new entry called 'User Levels'. This will determine wether they are Admins, Mods or the general public.)
- A home page (Something simple, with the logo, a screen shot of the website; maybe a pic of someones example profile, then a button saying 'Join Now'. Dont forget Input Boxes for a users email and password.)
- A registration systemm, with input for the users real name, email and the state or country where they live to make live feeds easier to track down people they can connect with whom are near.
- A basic profile page. (A thumbnail box for a user image, a posting system so a user can say something that their friends only can read, a friends list and a notes page etc;)

Now that I think about it that sounds better. I like iConnect and i want the link to Freehostia! maybe we could make special features that would cost a little bit off money so we could have a full domain.
