can i use scratch for children with autism;;;;

hallo...can i use scratch to help children with autism;;can i use scratch to improve the eye-hand coordination;;;the fine motor skills of an autism child;;;;i wonder if there are scratch  projects to help me;;;

Yes, there are plenty of good games out there, that will help with co-ordination. For example, there are lots of games where you use the cursor to follow a shape, and you get points if you stay touching the shape. But that's not all! Just browse through the projects and check them out!

If you're interested in assessing/improving hand-eye coordination, perhaps you'd find Scratch Boards interesting. They're a tad pricey, but from what I understand they have some great "sliders" that could be used to control something on-screen to improve coordination and fine motor skills. Just something you may want to take a look at.  smile

You might be interested in ScratchEd, the site for Scratch educators. I've seen multiple stories there about using Scratch with autistic kids.
