Man I can't finish any of the three games I've been trying to work on for the past three months. I'm having to dedicate too much time to my college and highschool studies atm and can't work on them any longer.
The first one is a somewhat 3D game that runs like junk because, well Scratch is not strong enough for 3d lol.
The second is 1s1s escape game where you basically have to move through the mazes and avoid the laser sensors in them.
The third is top secret so I'll stop there
Have you guys had similar experiences?

Kind of
I had a 1s1s platformer-ish game with moving platforms, a background that continuously changed colors, and a pretty nice movement system for the character
I only finished two levels
But it isn't really because of school work
I just can't focus on something like a game that long enough to complete it. I have some serious issues with focusing

I am the king of this topic. There must be at least fifty games I've never finished for Scratch, some which I am still working on, but may never come out.

well i tried to make a project with completely hidden sprites which would be pretty much a decent platformer
also it was 1s1s
also since i hid the sprite i had to do it all in one run because otherwise i wouldnt get back the sprite
except it wasnt that hard i did it in one go

My computer is a graveyard of unfinished games. Some ran into speed problems, some looked horrible, and some I was just too lazy to complete.

Me also. I've been making a special follow-up to my featured project, but I just spend 5 seconds on it and get bored.

Same. As a reminder to all those in high school: Senoir year is not easier than any other year. You have to apply to colleges, and that is hard.

Which courses?

One is 2D game animation, and the other I forget
I hope we don't do Scratch, I don't want people to know who I am

Yeah, i only make projects out of boredom. That's why most of them are podcasts.

Being too lazy and unable to plan is different from having no time to work on projects. Uni courses are nasty at term end. I don't even get weekends off at this point. I work on my programming like 2 hours a week.

Nah, they just require alot more studying than highschool courses. My plan right now is to take as many courses before college as I can that don't contribute to my being a computer engineer.
Next week is my last week in writting, then I'm taking world history, then something else after that. Hopefully by doing this I can focus the majority of my study time to courses that help me become a computer engineer when I enrole in a college.
