RHY- Probably one of the few people who made good, playable, ORIGINAL (08!!!) games in scratch. Everything else was bad in one way, all he did was slightly lag sometimes.
registeel(or other acc)- thanks

the word awesmoe is a meme. Somebody miss spelled awesome like a month ago, and now some people say awesmoe instead cause they think it's funny.

Urban Dictionary gives the meaning of "awesmoe" as the same as awesome. If you don't mind me asking, what does "awesmoe" mean? Is it something inappropriate?

No, I thought she had misspelled awesome so I was quoting her and pointing out her spelling mistake xD.

I am aware of the misspelling meme trend here on Scratch, but the fact that it is on Urban Dictionary indicates that it had emerged elsewhere prior to it becoming a fad here, which may mean that it could have a different definition that how we are perceiving it now on Scratch - that is why I want to know Blade-Edge's definition of the word.

Oh, I see what you mean. In that case, no, I was really only pointing out her spelling mistake.
If it does mean something inappropriate, then please excuse me and allow me to apologize.

'Awesmoe' - Werdna123 misspelled 'awesome' a month back, and it caught on, like a fad. It's nothing malicious, it's just a misspelling of awesome, but if you would prefer I'll use awesome instead. Sorry for the confusion.
P.S. Never trust Urban Dictionary. I just looked, and it is basically the same as it is here on Scratch. It's easy to mess up typing the word awesome, especially when typing out long messages. It's not inappropriate, just a trend.

-_-; Yes, I am aware about the awesmoe trend, and yes, I am aware of faultiness of Urban Dictionary. Like I've said before, the fact that term is on Urban Dictionary is an indicator that the term is not new here and has the possibility of meaning something else in different communities, which is why I am asking Blade-Edge if his definition of the word differs from the current viewpoint here on the forums.

I have a question- would that change whether we are allowed to use "awesmoe" on the forums? I guess it would make sense to block it if it turns out that it means something bad, but what if we are using it innocently or because of a spelling mistake?

Yeah. As for me and werdna123, we see it as a trend, which arose from a silly misspelling. That's all.
I'm not sure if Blade sees it differently, but I know some people find 'awesmoe'... annoying. So I'll cut down on the awesmoeness for now.
I'll look on Google again.

I can't tell - the censor list is discussed first before the list is modified. The result will end up based on the severity and frequency of use. As for the innocent use or misspelling part, that depends on the situation.
Ah, we've gone way too off-topic.

Right now, we're not trying to hurt anyone with awesmoe. It's like Steve - not everyone likes the fad but it still exists.
