I really don't understand why it's such a huge deal.

Don't get me wrong. RHY is easily the best programmer ever to join Scratch, and he was a pretty cool guy while he was here.

That said, he was still banned. He could've just appealed it, uploaded the game to his original account and everything would be right. But he didn't. Honestly, you can't just let someone bypass a ban because they're popular or nice. That's way more biased than anything the Scratch Team did.

tl;dr: if you escape from jail, you'll just be thrown back in - that's how it works.

I actually do agree that he shouldn't be unbanned, after all from the sounds of it, you offered him the chance to be reasonable and respect others and he turned it down. doesn't sound like he deserves to be unbanned.

i do admit that it's sad though considering how talented RHY was when it came to programming, but it's own fault and I'm not going to dwell on it personally.

Well, the only clue I've found to turntech possibly being RHY (except FMT's picture, which was later disproven) is his style of graphics.

And just because someone makes a game with good graphics like RHY's doesn't mean they're RHY.
