New types of block building on BYOB
I have BYOB, but I would like to build my own hat blocks , You can build command [ :=: ... ], reporter ( ... ), and predicates < ... >, but you can't build hat / ._. ... \. I'd like the hat block editor to be simple for new Scratch programmers, say the prototype is a hat block that has the title text in it, contains room for inputs, and has a Boolean input for when to activate the hat block.

This is only a suggestion board for Scratch. BYOB is an unofficial mod, so you should put your suggestions on the BYOB thread.
