I think LS97 might be making a VB version. Not sure, he mensioned it to me on skype. 
He said it would make a .vb (or what ever it is) file and then the use has to compile the project with Visual Stuido. 

But what would be the point of that?  Visual Basic is designed as a dare i say it visual software already thus making a scratch mod use almost pointless - it would probably help learn squeak?  Anyway, c++ seems like a much more sophisticated language to make easier for scratch

Do you actually know what copyright means? Prehaps you should research something like this before you try making whitty comments like that. 
Copyright covers material (like films, sound, pictures or code) not names of companies. 

  The anme is still a trademark of that company, and even if it is an unregistered trademark, it is still under trademark rights/law.

It's only a trademark for that usage, so you couldn't make something like it and call it Web Blox. Daffy22's Web Blox is completely different, so it can have that name.

Amazing! I agree with the C blocks, but that's all I think I need. It gets rather boring when all the blocks have their left edges aligned.
