bug in filtering file names

The Mac OS X had no problem allowing me to use an accented e é in the name for my Moire pattern program, but when the program was shared, the character was not properly interpreted.  The letter should either be understood by the web site (properly translated to the character code it uses) or Scratch should refuse to use the character in file names.

Incidentally, I want to change the name of the project, but I don't want to lose the comments people have posted.  Is there any way to do this?

Re: bug in filtering file names

To change the name of the project without losing comments, you can change the name directly within the website...
First, log in
Then, navigate to the project page
Finally, click on the title, and it should become a text field that you can change

Re: bug in filtering file names

I was unable to get an accented e in the notes field on the web also.
Editing with the Mac OS X accented e looked fine when editing, but got changed to ? when the editing was done.  Using the standard ampersand HTML code (eacute) got changed to ampersand amp; eacute;  which is a really brain-damaged mod!
