It seems that every so often, you post, and you get a message saying 'Bad request. The link you followed is incorrect or outdated.' and it erases your post.
Reasons why it might happen for a reason:
The thread was closed while you were posting.
You pressed the wrong button to submit.
If neither of these is true, it should (and it most likely was) for one of these reasons:
If you switched between tabs while posting, you may have confused the server.
Your post has a problem with its text.
Your post is too long (25000+ characters) sometimes it's too long to post.
An image is casuing a problem with posting.
The website is encountering problems.
You have been hit by the random logout glitch while posting.
You have confused the server by getting the 60/600 second rule too many times. This is likely if you post too quickly and get the 60 second rule 4+ times.
If you see another reason why, tell me and I'll add it.
Here are ways to avoid this glitch:
Be patient and avoid the 60 second rule.
Check you are logged in before posting on another tab.
Close all other tabs before posting (if you used point 2's advice, be sure to close the other tab).
Copy your post so you can paste it again if the bug hits you.
Anything else? Tell me and I'll add it.

This extension has saved me for quite a number of times actually.

Nice guide! I used to have this glitch often when I was posting between the TBG and main forums. I don't do that very often anymore, so I don't have that error. Nevertheless, it's a bug people should be aware of! Maybe there could be a solution, other than having to worry about this possibility...

Nice, comprehensive guide! I can't really think of anything relating to this that isn't on here. Wonderful job!

Nice job! I once encountered a problem where I posted a reply, and it made it into a whole new topic.

What about the title?
The title actually assumed the title of the title of the post I was replying too.
