I watched it. Nothing really happened, but it made me feel weird inside. Creeped out for no reason. It was a bad feeling though, and I don't want to experience it again.

Basically, the placebo effect is when a condition occurs or seems to occur in someone when a stimuli is presented because the person thinks the stimuli causes something, when it actually doesn't.  Used often in psychological therapy.

nothing happened to you. No one is lying. Different people have different reactions to weird noises. For example, most people are irritated by a knife scratching a plate, but I'm not.
