Scratch

I'm planning on writing a story and posting it here. It's something I've put a lot of thought into and plan to put a lot of work into.

The problem is, I don't know whether or not it would be offensive to some people.

It concerns religion, and revolves around a religion I made up. I'm afraid that people will draw parallels to existing religions and think I'm criticizing them or accuse me of being pagan or an infidel or other such terms.

Should I create and upload the project? Should I disable commenting and tagging in order to avoid flames? Should I keep my stories to myself? All the same, I think there is an audience out there, an audience of friends who would gladly read the Cult of the Kaleidoscope.
