I'm not saying she bought it from a homeless shelter, I'm saying that that same food could have been used to feed those less fortunate, but was instead used and soiled as a dress.

Yes, it could have been used to feed someone
But she bought it herself (Or, as you think, she stole it from a homeless shelter) so it was her meat. So she could have done whatever she wanted with it. If she chose to make a dress out of it, then good for her

I do NOT think she stole it from a homeless shelter. I also doubt she bought it with her money. My point is that it could have been put to better use.
