Should network TV show the elections instead of shows? Discuss.

So, anyone have something they would like to talk about?

How the big TV networks don't care about their shows, and interrupt them with election updates?  mad

I think Cartoons aren't as important as our nation.

Well, I, for one, would like to know who has won and who has not. I don't mind election updates.  smile

Personally, I don't it's really necessary. If you want to watch the elections, why not turn to a station that's playing them?

But if they show updates during commercials, that's OK. I don't really know how it works in the US  tongue

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Some stations update during commercials, some set a small block of time to cover the elections live. It really depends on the TV station.

That explains it. Here they usually don't interrupt regular TV entirely, except maybe a few channels.

I'd rather watch Castle or CSI than the political elections
I'd watch anything besides the elections actually. I don't even know who's the new mayor of Toronto, and I live there

Woah, I got extremely confused when I saw a topic that said it was made by me, and I didn't even make this topic! (I posted this on a now closed topic, and fullmoon [who just won the mod elections  smile  ] moved that post to its own topic)

On topic, the elections are important, but it is annoying when you are watching a show, and at the climax, the network interrupts, and gives a 20-minute "CBS Vote 2010 UPDATE".
