I got no candy, because of the pitiful neighborhod I live in.
I only have about 15 houses, and half of the people weren't home AND they didn't leave out baskets.
Oh well.
So how did you fare this year?

My neighborhood is extremely pitiful compared to yours (Or probably anyone's, for the matter). We got no trick or treaters at all
But I go to my friends neighborhood, and hardly anyone was giving out candy there either. I only went to about half of the neighborhood (And only 1/3 of the houses in that half were giving out candy), but I still ended up with a decent amount of candy. People were giving me alot, though. They like Charlie Brown

I went to my friends neighborhood last year, and I couldn't even fit it in my bag.

I didn't trick-or-treat this year. Instead I sat up in a tree with a Nerf sniper rifle (the Longshot) in my front yard for 10 minutes waiting for people to come along so I could shoot at them for no discernible reason. But the tree got very uncomfortable and I got down. Next, I wanted to see if I could rendezvous with my Dad and younger siblings, who were trickortreating, on another part of the neighborhood by hiking through the empty lots in our giant subdivision. I walked about 190 yards before I reached the big pond, and realized how far it really would be to the part I wanted to reach. Plus it was pitch black once you got away from the houses, I was in sneakers and shorts, the scrub was thick, AND when I stopped on the edge of the pond I realized I was standing right where venomous Cotton Mouth snakes burrow. I turned around and trudged back to the road and my house. When I got back, my socks were covered, I mean covered, with sticker burrs. So I just went inside and messed around on the computer. That was my Halloween.
Right now my family has enough candy to last until Thanksgiving, cuz some of our neighbors gave us there left over candy.

I got a ton of candy, because my sister and I were sprinting around our neighborhood so we could cover as many houses as possible.

I did epicly! I filled up my bag, and met my friend's nan (highlight of the night, lol). I think the success was down to our costumes, and leaving at 6:30, before anyone else. And I got £1 too! But I gave 50p to this charity house display, with a grotto, a guy dressed up as a yeti and scary dolls and models in the windows, life size grim reapers, even a coffin with a life size aniomatronic zombie coming out of it. It was awshum!!!!!
Most of the other kids were dressed up as devils, witches etc., but we were unique, with our hair gel and hairspray coated hair, and designed t-shirts. Our Jedward costumes p'wned everyone elses, lol.
We carved pumpkins, and I'm proud, considering I used a PROPER knife, and I didn't injure myself. After my burning toast inident in cooking,I'm happy how it turned out.

Yeah, it was - even the rain didn't flatten our quiffs, lol!
So many generous old people. It warms your heart as you stand at their door, shivering, while they stumble at 1mph to the sweet tin. Yay.
