Hiding Variable Monitors

Hi everybody,

I'm working on a project where the user starts by entering data via the Variable sliders, and then when he/she is happy with the settings they've entered, they press an onscreen button to initiate a series of events. My question is:

Is there a way to have Scratch hide the Variable monitors (sliders) at an event, like the user pressing a button?

I've tried bringing a stage sized sprite to the front (which DOES cover everything, including the variable monitors), but I'm using the pen, which seems to only draw on the stage, and not over any sprites (which obviously includes my 'fake' stage). So I guess an alternate question would be:

Is it possible to have the pen draw OVER everything?

Thanks for any assistance!

Re: Hiding Variable Monitors

not really, but you can have a sprite that cover's up the variable when you want it to by broadcasting or other variables.
