I bought some music on Itunes and it won't show up when you click the import button!

How dud you import the music? Did you go to the music in iTunes through Finder?
Since you bought it, there may be some special thing that stops you from playing/copying the song outside of iTunes.

Scratch can only read MP3 files and uncompressed WAV, AIF, and AU files (encoded with 8-bits or 16-bits per sample, but not 24-bits per sample).

Download Audacity:

Start off by dragging the songs in, then export as one of the formats mentioned above.
I suggest the Beta version.
