Java won't work on firefox

I have a Mac OSX. I love FireFox

Exept for one tiny detail. 

Java won't work. No matter how many times I try, I can't play scratch projects without going back to Safari or downloading them. The experimental viewer is great, but it has to many glitches.

In other words, HELP!

You need to install the java player for Firefox.

Now only using this account to post in Miscellaneous, but when Miss_Webgal becomes a Scratcher I'm ditching this account.

Macs ship with java installed. This is simply a bug in firefox. Heres what you do.
1.Download firefox.dmg
2.Click on the dmg.
3.Run firefox from the drive that appears. You can drag this to the dock for easier access.
