Free SSBB music
I've noticed that a number of people have been bouncing the idea of a Super Smash Bros game on Scratch. I think it's a great idea, and, not being able to get the menu theme out of my head, (I don't own a Wii, but my friends do-go figure) I tried to find it online. Much to my delight, I found a link to a page to virtually all Brawl music. If you need to make use of it (for any project-this is awesome background music), look here!

Another great resource for custom music is GarageBand, for all the Mac users out there. All the included loops can be used to mix together your own original score.

the website has moved and the music came from a place called videogamescrapbook.com plus you can chat with the guy there without signing up, he's really nice guy he supposedly works for nintendo, he won't send viruses, spam, or swear, nothing bad happens there!

HEY! guess what the guy for chat on the website is fine! the guy who owns the website actually works for nintendo! he's on, on weekends! he's real nice guy don't worry there is no swearing or anything! no viruses, spyware, risk free! but it's up to you if you still don't want take the risk

Do you have Windows Media Center Edition? Then try using Windows Audio Converter to turn it into a .wav, then back to an .mp3. If you don't have MCE, there are thousands of free converters avaiable online. Try looking through this post for some links.
