As you may know, I'm Telemachus. Recently I was greatly honored in receiving a position on the candidate list for the Community Moderator elections, for which voting will begin on Wednesday night.

As for me, I began my Scratch career nearly three years ago. At first I was hesitant and rather clueless, but eventually I grew to understand the program, and since then I've developed a great appreciation for all that Scratch has done for my life and for the lives of others.

Over the past several months, I've helped the community on both the website and here on the forums, and I hope that I've benefited your Scratch experience in some way or another during that time.

Why should you consider me?
-I can truly say I've never had a day on Scratch that I didn't like. I always try to keep an upbeat attitude, while still maintaining composure and focusing on the tasks ahead.
-I have experience with the program. I've used Scratch for a while, and I've taught many others to use it as well. I'm always eager to help other Scratchers who are in need of assistance.
-I'm experienced in dealing with groups of children. I frequently volunteer in local organizations, and I often find myself leading clubs and other social groups. From my experiences I've learned many valuable mediation skills which I hope I can apply to the Scratch Community.
-I've read the Terms of Use multiple times, and I truly try to live by these sentiments and others, not only on the website, but during everyday living as well.

I must thank you for reading this wall of text, and I hope you will at least consider lending me your vote. I wish the best of luck to all candidates; you all deserve the position. For now and always, Scratch on. smile

...And here is yet another person I know I want to vote for. Why are there so many great people? This time 'round I honestly have no idea who I'm going to vote for. None of the candidates fall short of spectacular and are all pretty much equal in my minds... Ack!

Anyways, great topic! I seem to be saying this to every candidate, but I'm sure you'll get one of my top votes. smile
