Does Scratch accept wav. formats?

I have a program called Fruityloops that makes music. I would like to put some of this music in my Scratch games. However, the files this music saves on is in the wav. format. Is it possible to put wav. files in my Scratch games and use them as game music?

Re: Does Scratch accept wav. formats?

Yep! That's actually the only format it accepts without the files screwing up. It'll usually accept MP3s, but oftentimes it sounds dead awful and the timestamp is messed. WAVs aren't obsolete!

More info.

It does, But that wav. file will have to be transformed into a MIDI. file.

I think you mean the other way around, MIDI to WAV to import into Scratch.  wink

Re: Does Scratch accept wav. formats?

It does but lots do not work. If you use the microsoft sound recorder that wav doesn't work and all the others that I have to save sound, only the one that can save as mp3 works.
