No.
Not without 08jackt's permission. And I don't think he considers anyone competition (Maybe he does, I don't know)

Okay, never mind. What other articles would you like me to do?

Yes...
That's the whole point... But maybe you should ask him anyway. I like the idea, RAF...

Okay, so two questions:
Am I still doing the Shootout?
And if so, should I ask both for permission?

I would really like it if you could get the shootout, but get permission, please. And get it finished ASAP.

OK, got it! I'll get permission and finish the articles!

Okay, sorry.
It's fine, I can see it from your point, and I think you should ask.

Don't worry. I've asked, and gotten permission from LS97. I'm still waiting on 08jackt, and I've got the article finished. I just need the permission.

So... exactly when are we publishing this?

I'd like to work on graphic design (if you haven't finished).
I'm glad seeing this develop into a real project for once. A while back, it crashed every week.
Pictures:

The page is scrollable(like a reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaallly long newspaper) to make navigation easier. The top part hovers over the pages. There are arrows on the bottom right to scroll or you can use the arrow keys.

I agree, this is really awesome, but can we implement this in the January issue? Sorry, but this issue is going to be pretty bare bones.
Next time, I was actually planning to have a clickable table of contents, greatdane, maybe a test project would be great.

Are we done with the articles yet, or do some users need to still submit theirs?
I can help with compiling, if of course enough articles are submitted.

Wow! this is really cool. I don't think I'll sign up but I may write an article or two for it.

Okay, here's my shootout (I got permission from both LS97 and 08jackt):
Two OSes we all know. The features are compared, the pros and cons displayed, and finally, a winner displayed! Yes, it is a Shootout!
This time we will be comparing two great OSes: SilviSoft and SynOS! The geniuses behind them are: 08jackt with SynOS and LS97 with SilviSoft! Each of you should be proud of your OS, and that is why it is interesting to go deep into a shootout.
SilviSoft (Watermark): This OS has lots of cool features. It is customizable and has good graphics. The edition I viewed is a great OS and has great, slick movement. The colors change quickly, slickly, and easily. The backgrounds are sleek and elegant. SilviSoft literally does shine - from the automated clock to the classy, glowing buttons. It's classy and highlighting of the strong and classically exciting apps.
SynOS 6: It was smart of 08jackt to have imports and exports over Scratch, and it works well for really getting customization on your OS. It is nice, because if you have a lot of photos and songs you can easily import them in and the scripting is done already. It has a funky, urban style that highlights the intense programming of the famed OS.
Please vote for your favorite OS! The decision will be announced in the next article!

Okay, and here's a small article if you need one:
Lately, top projects have thrown tons of great unknown projects at us. And what may these be...?
Featured projects - There are tons of great unknown projects, and the Scratch team has surprised us by promoting projects that have great unknown authors. I personally liked Sandwich 5.1 and Play with Baby Scratch Cat. These have all been great projects, and I think the Scratch team did right to start featuring unknown artists.
Top loved/viewed/remixed - Everybody works hard on their projects, but do memes and remixables really deserve their own category? Memes and remixables are fun to do and read, but with an empty space, we could fill so much: an awards section, a unknown members section, a top forum posts section! What would you do if we had an extra section?
Top loved/viewed projects are great, because they show what the community is enjoying. But could we do different projects? I mean, the Beach and Scratchers Weekly are great and all, but there are so many great projects, why don't we love-it those? A change of scenery is always good. No offense to the many funny and cool animations, games, and articles that fill up these rows. I am not playing sides. I love all projects that appear on the front page.
Curating - We have had many great curators. It was truly a great thing for Scratch to do this. I think it is going well and is a great opportunity. With the many different curators, the projects have varied and this is good. I think curating is a great thing and the many projects that have been in that row all deserved it.
Thanks for reading Top Projects!

Okay here's my second try:
Have you ever wondered how to start a company and keep it going?
Here's how.
Think of a name. Make sure it's not taken, so look it up on Scratch. Then, go to collaborations, and make a forum post that gives the general details of what your company makes. Make the title catch attention, but not like, "Read This Or Die". Say If your company is Emerald Productions, it could be, "♦ Emerald Productions is Hiring ♦".
Have a limit of members. Too many members will be out of control. So limit about 10 for now.
To make sure your company doesn't crash and burn, always be working on something, to keep your members active. But don't overwork them, or they'll quit.
Also, if you think it's going to last a long time, make a gallery, an official thread, and a website. Some good website makers are webs.com and weebly.com.
but always make sure you have fun making games!
