Probably the wrong place to ask, but it's the only place I won't get

insulted.

In AS2, what would I do to make the swf stop at a keyframe? I mean as in it doesn't loop back to the beginning?

EDIT: stop() worked, but does it have any side effects?

stop(); Isn't like stop in Scratch; it just makes the animation stop on the frame  smile  scripts still run, ofcourse.
