I have though of several things that I might want to put in my signature (other than the one I have now, I just made that because I was ticked off) and I was wondering if I was allowed to put the following in my signature:
A bible verse (from either the Hebrew Scriptures or the Christian Scriptures)
A link to another website I.E. Facebook
Email Adresses (I wouldn't really want to put that in mine, I just thought some other
people might be wondering about that one)
Pictures of me or personal property I.E. My awesome house

For all I know (doesn't the "New Scratcher" text flash and tell you "Don't believe him!") you can just put bible verses as normal text, links someone else will have to tell you about, just put the email address or try if mailto works ( mailto: 2l84zwamani@greatpersonland.gov.mol ) and for pictures, type "(img) picture URL here (/img)" with square brackets instead of normal brackets.

Bible verses are fine, links to other websites like Facebook are sort of okay (I think you can do them), pictures of you should be okay, but you shouldn't post pictures of your house and such; people could use it to find out where you live (it seems silly but some pictures have been removed for that).

Thanks alot! These were both helpful, I'll take them into account.

Also, don't ever post your email! We'll remove it
I think you should be fine posting a picture of your house per se, unless you live in a very distinguishable area, such as beside the Eiffel Tower, or in the Champs Elysees, or in the Parlaiment buildings. Not just that, but there's a lot of really recognizable architecture in some cities such as New York or San Francisco - so if it looks obvious where your house is, don't post it.

You made me think - why do we have the [email] BBCode tags if e-mails get removed? xD

Just for clarification on the link part: We usually don't condone links, but If the link is SEO spam (commercial links) or leads to something inappropriate (like a browser exploit), then it will be removed. But, other than that, most links are usually okay.

Yeah.. That's about it. Please note that this is not for me to help people, it is because I'm actually wondering these things... Please reply![]()
You can put links to different sites. I don't know about religious themes because that might cause controversy, I dont care about it but some people might. I would not recommend putting email.

Thanks for the help everyone!
Sorry its been so long since I last checked this. Maybe I'll make it into a guide.
But if so, probably tomorrow.

By the way, can I put a hidden image (like this, in between the two arrows: →←) in my signature?

I think the Bible verse and the link, as long as it's not SEO spam or something like cheddargirl said, are fine. I don't think you'd want to do either of the other two though.
