About 500 comments and 1600 forum posts. About 1:3

Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

Re: So I decided to compare my forum post count to my project post count..

I have 3 times as many posts as comments, but that's because I normally come on here not to socialize (no matter how much it seems like it) but to help people with problems and find projects people are advertising. I don't normally comment. Most people get comments through RPGing  hmm

So, thats 1:30, right?  hmm  It does show how I use the site, kind of. But, I find it kind of awkward to praise someone's project through a comment, so I hardly ever comment, anyway. I just favorite/love-it, depending on how much I like it.

150 comments!?!?!  yikes  I have 1087 comments!!! I registered a little while ago, you registered 2 years ago!!! Wow.....

Looks at registration.

You must spam comments or something.

I'm pretty sure I don't spam. I just comment a lot, that's all.  smile  Sometimes I say, in a comment, "Hey! This is pretty cool! My project (link to project) is a little like yours!" but that's all I do, well I think.  big_smile

Also, @rufflebee, I like your siggy. XD And, I have not a lot of posts. I prefer the main site.  smile  You probably prefer the forums.  smile

Hey wait should we combine our TBG post count with our forum post count?

Mnn, I haven't though about the TBGs since they're used separately from Scratch.

How about: do two ratios, one for regular forum use, another for TBG use.  smile

My ratio is shamefully low... I have about 1500 comments and quite a few posts... Somebody do the math  wink

So I figured I'd do the math. I have about a 1:5.6 ratio. Better get those comments up!

ihaveamac wrote:

A ratio is essentially a fraction. So represent the two as a fraction, in this case we'll use my comment count of 1500 and post count of 8500:

8500
1500

As a ratio, this can be represented as 1500:8500, because for every 1500 comments I have, I have 8500 posts. Now we want to get the first number down to 1 so that it makes sense. To do this, we'll divide them both by 1500 (because, to get the first number down to 1, we must divide it by itself, in the same matter we would divide a fraction):

1500/1500 = 1
8500/1500 = 5.6

Thus, the ratio is 1:5.6

And that's all, until the next episode of Coolstuff's Math Lessons!

Currently, with 2339 posts and 2441 comments, my ratio is approximately *drum roll*
