GET PAID to teach Scratch to public middle school kids
I need someone who is proficient in Scratch AND can teach others how to use it.
Other requirements:
Clear communicator
Good with kids ages 11-13
Responsible
Reliable transportation
Our afterschool program needs someone for our Gaming Academy to teach students how to make their own games using Scratch.
Classes are held in El Segundo at the school on Fridays from 2:45 - 4 pm.
Pay is $25/hour.
Job starts this Friday, Oct. 8th.
I know it's short notice. The instructor we had lined up let us know on Monday that he had to back out because he decided it was too far to drive from his home.

Hey jparrino, this forum is used mostly by kids, so, for safety reason, posting e-mail addresses in the forums are highly discouraged.
Also, since this forums is mostly for kids, it is very unlikely you will get a response from an educator here. It is encouraged for educators to use ScratchED instead for topics related to teaching Scratch or using Scratch in education.
