Re: TsunamI Enterprises (Fantasy RPG Development Team)

shadowhalo3, please cool it and stay respectful!

This forum section is named "Show and tell". To me this means that this is a part of the forum where you can show off (link to) your projects and advertise them by telling about them. Personally I don't see much use in advertising a project in advance,  but I guess this falls under the "tell" part. On the other hand, if you just "tell" about something that you can't (or don't want to) "show" yet, you should be prepared to deal with scepticism by others.

Another thing that might provoke scepticism is having several user accounts and pretending to be a group of people. Now, please don't get me wrong, I see nothing anappropriate in this (it's even a fun idea to manage your own company of yourselves, and you have been posting some excellent projects). But it might be even more fun to really join forces with others - there are so many wonderful examples of collaborative projects in Scratch. And please do keep in mind, that it's fun to compete, but not everything is meant to be a contest ...

Now I'm eagerly awaiting "Launch Day", let's see this gargantuan project of yours!

I was thinking, about 'Spriters' you might want to get someone well known, like MyRedNeptune, Boopaloo, SonicPops etc. than relying heavily on someone who could be lying about how good they are at making sprites and I think as Vice President I should advise you on this

Re: TsunamI Enterprises (Fantasy RPG Development Team)

Jens, I'll admit I have two profiles, this one & ske7en. and i'll finally come clean.....

Tsunami Enterprises (he) is developing the game completely by himself.no help....from anyone...n I kno him in reality, thats why we use the same I.P

he asked me to "sub" in the forums for him while he works on the game. so here i am. my games ive done myself as well. srry for my anger, im not as reasonable as he is. anyway, best believe he workin on the game as i type.

LAUNCH DAY will end this all......God's will..

Re: TsunamI Enterprises (Fantasy RPG Development Team)

I am just starting sractch but i'm really good at scrpiting. I have only have just started scratch april 01 2008 in school but im already know alot of C++ and i have experience with lua coding witch you can get an example by going to garrysmod.org and downloading one of the files like the hoverboard and go into the coding. It's not somthing i've done but i know how to edit every bit of it to my pleasure. Graphics arn't my thing but i am wokring on my own rpg game similer to the game "Maplestory" at nexon.maplesotry.com. I may not know how to work all the scripts in Scrach but im learning fast. I'm planing on haveing my current game im working on and my first out by the end of april for school.

So I don't qant to here that "you didn't start on it." Im not assigned to the team that's working on the game, i basically watch and do memberships, but just to let you know, the team that's assigned to the game is working on it. Hey, I can perhaps help with the sprites. I know some websites. Also if the music person (sonc4a) can't find a cirtain song, I can definately find it. Just tell me which sprites you need.

Re: TsunamI Enterprises (Fantasy RPG Development Team)

This is why I never tell anyone that I'm releasing a new game. It's not like you have to just quarrel over it all the time. You should let Tsunami_Enterprises try it out, and when it is released, see it, and then you can decide if the save mechanism (if there is one) is decent. I'm not taking anyone's side here.

I've actually tested the save mechanism at his house, and the way he made it sort of seemed effortless. I understand why its sooo impossible  hmm  , worked fine.

BTW, SCREENSHOTS OF THE GAME WILL BE UPLOADED LATER TODAY.

I completely agree. Also the 4-disk thing. You can't put scratch on more than one disk. It's either 1 or nothing (unless you use Jens' Scratch2EXE thing)

You CAN actully save your game, but you must NOT leave scratch. There can be a variable that keep it the same.

However, on upload, it won't work. I have a load game with code mechanism (for my secret evil upcoming project) that I'd be happy to share.

I'm working on a very big game! I'd be happy to give anyone a demo but I'd rather not make a big deal of it. However, I hope to see it done before June 15.

Re: TsunamI Enterprises (Fantasy RPG Development Team)

As for the 4-disk thing, is Dawn of Darkness really 2800 MB? That's how much can be stored on four CD's. Or is it a four-part game? Anyway, can't wait to see the screenshots!

No actully, it would have to be stored on one CD because the data from the first one would not be the same, second, it wouldnt be able to get on scratch, because if its like 9 MB, then it can go on you just have to download it, but it wont go online if its over 10 MB.
